Wonderful Posted Boys. I've been going since I was a kid... Now I take my kids..and they take their kids!!!

I love the fried poboys here! The bread is soft and the seafood is fried and seasoned just right! Great prices too!

The people were very nice and the seafood was terrific.

I like this place. The poor boys are decent, but I will say depends on what you pick. I was there a week or so ago and I ordered a roast beef fully dressed. It was so-so, mostly because all that over-stuffing has apparently translated to no flavor including from the gravy. I realize this may be due to a market demand of the area (no seasoning, just gobs of meat/cold cuts slathered in packet gravy) but clearly I made a wrong choice. I've had oyster poor boy from here, excellent. Hot sausage poor boy, excellent. Cheeseburger, excellent. That roast beef did not do it for me though. End of the day, if you're out in Kenner and you want a poor boy, stop by and see these nice folks at Check In Check Out. Just stick to the things that are good from the griddle or the fryer. :-D

Good food was great. I was impressed to hear that this restaurant has been there for 49 years. I don't know of many places that have lasted that long

Any chicken or seafood platter is actually a French fry platter with a side of chicken or seafood. Complete ripoff

BEST PO-BOYS IN KENNER!!!

The absolute worst food I have ever been forced to pay for.. Just FYI there's a sign on the wall that says all sales are final and if you are a tourist looking for good authentic Cajun food..... Run don't walk get away from this place fast.! ..there's a reason they had to post the sign and it's not because the food is good. Brown spaghetti yuck scorched super salty red beans and rice and refused to refund my money.. They should have stuck with the gas station.

Worth the trip: Great food, nice people, I've been enjoying their poboys for years. Our first stop into Louisiana from north Alabama is here. By car or plane, we head back with at least 3 shrimp or oyster poboys. Legendary !!

This is the most terrible gas station I have ever visited. They do not take cash for gas. They shut down the machines while I was pumping gas. It took 15 minutes to finally get a full tank. Lastly, they do not offer bottled soft drinks.Very sad excuse for a gas station.

If your reading this review, stop what your doing and get over here asap

Menu online has a totally different price from the store. Website needs to be updated or honor it. Got to the store n lady behind the counter acted like she didn't know what i was saying when I pulled up the menu. OH AND THE PLATES WERE NOT FULL LIKE THEY USUALLY ARE.

I've got sandwiches from here since I was a kid! This honestly if it was only left up to the food is 5 star! There's an amazing hot sausage po boy that melts in your mouth unlike no Other! (Ask for the links ) But they are getting a bit pricey! 8 bucks for a 6 inch! Whew weeee... & service could be slightly better but over all check in check out is just as good as it was when my mom & dad used to take us when we were younger!

This place has good tasting food but they donot fill the sandwiches or plates u get very very little and sandwiches are so lite u think u eating just bread...they used to over stuff..NOT ANYMORE

I work out of state and this time I've been away for 4 months so the ONE DAY I am home I order a hot sausage poboy PATTIES NOT LINKS and a CHEESEburger poboy...I picked my order up on my way back to work well I decided to eat a piece of my hot sausage and they gave me links and then there was no cheese on my cheeseburger poboy. I called the store and talked to the store owner who could care less and that was apparent from her lack of attention as I voiced my complaints. Then she told me that it was my fault and couldn't admit she was wrong when I recalled the conversation verbatim. I had heard this store had gone down in service and quality but now it's confirmed and they won't ever get my business again! My family has gone to that store for years and we are all in agreement that they suck!

If you can eat the whole muffaletta in one sitting then you should be on TV. It's delicious and humongous. Great place.

4 stars because it's based solely on the mood of the ladies at the counter whether or not your food is good. If the ladies are in a good mood you can't go wrong, if not... I'll let your imagination fill in the rest
